Applications for the 2021 FAUSA Annual Grant of $3000 are open! Please consider nominating an organization which you and other members are supporting a) financially b) by volunteering or c) providing goods or services in kind. Nominations should be received no later than two weeks prior to the Annual Meeting and Getaway to allow for vetting of the organization, membership voting online and tabulation of results for announcement at the Annual Meeting.
In 2004 the FAUSA Board created the Annual ‘Philanthropy’ Grant to support a member-nominated organization based in The Americas. In recognition of the FAUSA members’ desire to continue their charitable giving (a strong component of their respective FAWCO clubs), the $2000 FAUSA Annual Grant has been awarded to organizations located in Bolivia, Mexico, Guyana as well as the US. The mission and services provided by the recipients of the Grant range from disaster-related funding, to education and training for victims of sexual exploitation and a leadership program for girls.
The 2021 FAUSA Annual Grant in the amount of $3000 will be awarded Saturday, October 24 at FAUSA’s annual meeting/Getaway. The Grant Application is available online.
