At our Getaway Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 28th, the recipients of our two FAUSA Annual Grants were announced.
The winning recipients are:
1) Food4Kids - Nourished Kids 4 Nourished Minds from Long Beach, CA USA from the organization, Food Finders, Inc. and nominated by Janet Darrow AND
2) Ascend: Empowering and supporting Afghan women in Afghanistan in Kabul, Afghanistan from the organization, Ascend Leadership Through Athletics, nominated by Stephanie Biery.
This year, we included international non-profits and most had US administration offices. 2024 saw a record number of application from 14 excellent non-profits. FAUSA sincerely appreciates all the time and effort given by our FAUSA member nominations.
