Speaker Series – Milwaukee’s Hidden Treasures

May 15, 2025 by Yolanda Henry

Date: 05/15/2025
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

We are expecting a great turnout for our October Getaway in Milwaukee! Even if you can’t join us, this event is a fantastic opportunity to discover the vibrant city by the lake, which offers so much more than just its famous beer.

We are honored to have Tony Snell Rodriguez as our speaker this month. Tony, the Director of Community Engagement and Inclusion at Visit Milwaukee, will share his insights on the city’s recreational and cultural activities.

Our Getaway team has curated an exciting package of fun activities and interesting places tov isit during the event. Additionally, there are plenty of opportunities to explore if you arrive early or stay a few days afterward.

Tony will introduce you to the many recreational and cultural possibilities, both beside and on the lake. He will highlight his personal favorites, including some hidden gems that are less known.

Tony Snell Rodriguez is a passionate leader in tourism and community engagement, serving as the Director of Community Engagement and Inclusion at Visit Milwaukee. With a deep commitment to equity, storytelling, and partnership-building, Tony works to ensure that Milwaukee’s diverse neighborhoods, cultures, and voices are authentically represented and celebrated. Through strategic collaborations with local organizations, businesses, and residents, he strengthens connections between the tourism industry and the broader community—making Milwaukee a more inclusive, welcoming, and vibrant destination for all.
