FAUSA will host FAWCO 2025 Biennial Conference in Annapolis, MD! The conference will take place March 27 - 29, 2025 (Thursday through Saturday) at the Graduate Hotel.
Annapolis is the charming, capital city of the state of Maryland and is the home of the US Naval Academy. It is accessible to several airports, reasonably priced, great food, culture, and vibes!
Annapolis is a beautiful historic waterfront town about 45 minutes east of downtown Washington DC on the Chesapeake Bay. It has a rich history dating back to the 17th century when it was considered the Athens of North America. It has more original 18th century buildings than any city in the US!
Annapolis offers a lot to do and see…from museums to historic buildings and gardens to boat tours of the harbor, there’s something to interest all of our FAWCO and FAUSA members and guests. Both Baltimore and Washington DC are within 50 minutes which gives you added attractions to visit. The United States Naval Academy is the oldest service academy in the US. In January 2024 its first woman superintendent, Vice Admiral Yvette Davids, was installed. Take a tour of the campus, witness the changing of the guard ceremony, or explore the fascinating Naval Academy Museum.

On the east coast, Annapolis is only 35 minutes from Baltimore Washington International Airport with direct flights from London Heathrow and Reykjavik, Iceland; 1 hour 15 minutes from Dulles International Airport; and 45 minutes from Ronald Reagan Airport.
