Our recent Silent & Live Auction raised the most ever at a FAUSA Getaway Gala, thanks to our wonderful donors and bidders. The 2023-2024 winners of FAUSA’s $5,000 annual grants are Tewa Women United (New Mexico) and Refugee Assistance Alliance (South Florida/Miami). These compelling projects support several UN Sustainable Development goals. Tewa Women United will use FAUSA's grant to implement its culturally congruent A'gin Braided Curriculum for middle schoolers on healthy sexuality and body sovereignty, and Refugee Assistance Alliance will train ordinary people to help refugees fleeing war. Of the whopping $35,765 raised in the Silent & Live auction, nearly $20,000 was raised during the Live Auction, thanks to our super auctioneer, and generous attendees!
