A special thank you to our members for our FUNdraising efforts for this year’s Getaway; the total raised for FAUSA and its philanthropic projects was an amazing $25,533! The beautiful quilt, made and donated by Chris Czyszczewski, was won by Kathy Limbaugh and brought in a total of $3,100. Our donation goal of $8500 was surpassed with Rick Chizmadia’s “Raise the Thermometer” efforts to earn $9400. The Silent and Live Auctions, with Murray Frick as auctioneer, brought in $10,803.
The winners of are FAUSA ANNUAL GRANT were “Beloved Bundles and Soft Interview Room” for Project Beloved in Fort Worth, TX, submitted by Therese Hartwell and “Women’s Health Program for Expectant Mothers and Babies” for The Lamp Foundation in Cité du Soleil, submitted by Elizabeth Hemminger.
